I Love you ..... Text Ya Later!

Hey! I thought it would be great to use a stamp set today that I haven't seen many use. It is a great stamps for many ages and groups particularly the hard ones - Teenages and Masculine cards.

The stamp set I used for todays project (Text Ya Later) was not one that first appealed to me when we received the catalogue. In fact, it was Bruno that added it to HIS shopping list when we were putting in our first order. But, after making this card, I am completely sold at how cool it is. Here is todays project;

I love how this project turned out. I stamped the 'phone outline' first and then searched through all of the different options for this stamp set. It is such a quick and versatile set - so many different uses for many different ages. So, since it was Bruno that made me get this stamp set, I thought I would make this card for Bruno.

As you can see, there are two-step stamping opportunities in this set (the text background are stamps). I wanted the screen to looks as much like the iPhone message screen as possible so I used Marina Mist and Smoky Slate for the text backgrounds.

For the sentiment, I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and coordinating punch. I mounted the text screen and sentiment onto a sheet of DSP from the Wood Texture stack. I also mounted the sentiment onto some of the Burlap Ribbon.

Finally, I mounted onto a layer of Marina Mist and then onto a Marina Mist card base. I love versatile stamps like this (and Thoughtful Banners). There are FIFTY NINE stamps in this set - wow! Imagine the possibilities!!!!!

What is your most versatile stamp set?
