Missing You - With New Catalogue Products and EMBOSSING PASTE!

Hi Everyone and thanks so much for stopping by today.

A few days ago, I shared a home decor piece I made using the new Quilt Builder Framelits. If you missed it, here is a link to it. I have another project to share using the same framelit and the awesome embossing paste. Here it is;

To start, I made a mask using window sheet. I stuck it down using some washi tape. Then I mixed the embossing paste with some Bermuda Bay reinker. I wanted a VIBRANT colour so I lost count of the number of drops I put in. And, I applied the paste to the mask. And, I removed the mask as soon as I had applied all of the paste.

Next I cut out one of the Quilt Builder shapes using Lemon Lime Twist. But, instead of the square shape, I trimmed it in the shape of a flower. After the paste had dried, I stuck the flower down with a glue dot.

I mounted this onto a Thick Whisper White card base. For the sentiment, I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and coordinating Classic Label Punch.

I had ALOT of fun making this card. I LOVE using the embossing paste and this project is an example of using any framelits as masks. Bur, it also demonstrates how versatile the new Quilt Builder framelits are. I can't wait for you to get your hands on them.
