This week over at the Global Design Project our challenge is Colour! I do enjoy these challenges - Sketches tend to create a card much faster for me though. This colour challenge didn't take me long to be inspired by though - because I ADORE these colours.
Here is my card -
The colours screamed out elegant and floral to me this time. I adore the Circle of Spring Wreath and it looks so stunning embossed in white and then sponged. You can see more about this technique below. Also the flowers I embossed and cut but hand - yes it is a little bit of work - but the results speak for themselves. it was totally worth it. I am one of those strange people that love snipping too!
That sentiment is from the brilliant set - One Big Meaning and has been cut out using the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits. I also sponged the edges of this too.
Here are some Technique Ideas that I used on this card that you can pin to remind you
You will notice that there is a very thin layer of Mint Macaron on top of another layer of Mint Macaron. This is a 3mm smaller layer. (1.5mm on each side) To make it stand out why not sponge the edges? It is a stunning addition to an elegant card. Here is the picture below so you can pin it to remind you to use this technique -
Here are the gorgeous colours that was our challenge at the Global Design Project this week. Make sure you head over there to be inspired by all the other Design Team members.

Hallo meine Liebe
DIESE Karte ist definitiv mein Favorit diese Woche. Erst dachte ich, Du hättet Vellum oben drauf gemacht, weil sie so leicht aussieht.
